Default Donations?: My friend is cycling in the MS150 for the 2nd time in 3 years

    Donate online: http://www.ms150.org/edon.cfm?id=207155

The BP MS150 Bike Tour is a two-day, 180-mile bicycle tour from Houston to Austin. It is a fund-raising event for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Lone Star Chapter and the largest event of its kind in the United States with approximately 13,000 riders. April 12-13, 2008

It's not a easy task. She goes on 30-50 mile long organized training rides on weekends. She's a single mom with a 10 year old daughter, works full-time as a database administrator and has a home based business on the net.

I was diagnosed in August 1998. I am one of the lucky ones being able to live a fairly normal life with the worst of my problems having to self-catheterize ~10 times a day to empty my bladder.

I know there are others on here with MS if they want to comment on MS or their experiences.

Feel free to post MS rides and fund raising activities in your area in this thread if you wish.

Donations by check or money order are also welcome and are to be made out to: National MS Society

PM me if you prefer to send your donations directly to me which I will then give them to my friend to turn in.

    Thank You

    Bump for a worthy cause
"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass

When I was in high school I always volunteered to help at the san antonio to corpus christi part. Very good cause.

It's a worthy cause for sure, but like Doro I like to keep it local/personal as well. I and some others donated to Victor's (Halo) sister here at Club Polk for a cycling event for MS as well. Best of luck to your friend. :)

If everyone donates $20 then I promise to donate $100 to George's good cause. It's easy to do online. Just whip out the credit card :)

Maybe if you sold a couple SL2000's for $10,000 each it would help?
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

    Great idea.

    Donate $30 and I'll send you a free sl3000. They're almost as good as the sl2000 :) I've got 16+ sl3000's.
