    Default want more bass

I have 4 10in. momos in a 91 chevy pick up(regular cab) with a JBL12001 running all for of them wired parallel. The box is individually seald chambered with at most .66 cu. ft. of airspace each. A pioneer DEHP9300 as a source. It sounds good, but I feel I should be getting more bass out of them. I've heard other systems with four 10's and you can't almost stand all the bass. What can I do to get even more bass at of them. I was thinking a X-over or maybe more amp power.
Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks

    Juan,
I would suggest measuring the usable space available in the truck to see if we can design a 3 chamber Iso-Push Pull Bandpass
enclosure. This enclosure will have greater gain than the sealed enclosure. You might also want to rewire your subs to achieve a 4 Ohm load. Granted more power is achieved into a lower impedance but the sound quality usually suffers. Also try inverting the phase of the woofers too. Make sure to set the high pass and low pass crossovers somewhere between 80 to 90 Hertz.

If you have any questions, give us a call at 800-377-7655 between the hours of 9 AM to 6 PM Eatsern time and we will be glad to help.

    Thanks,
    Kim, Polk Audio
