Saving Private Ryan (DTS version) comes to mind first.
Transformers is good.
Black Hawk Down is good... the helicopters going overhead is unreal. crank it up when you watch it though. :)
Master and Commander
Has anyone heard if Saving Private Ryan is coming out on Blu Ray or HD DVD? I hope it does.
What's surrond sound?
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Saving Ryan is pretty much the best
U-571
Chronicles of Riddick
Apollo 13
Gladiator
and definitely Transformers
I heard one reviewer give big props to Crimson Tide during the scene when Gene Hackman is addressing the crew in the rain. He liked it for both good surround & good story.
There's always the Pod-Race in Star Wars 1, or the elevator scene in the Matrix.
House of Flying Daggers - Echo Dance...

I agree on saving private ryan pretty much the best. I watch it again every time I get some new gear.
The Last Mimzy, I'm not kidding either, some of the craziest surround and LFE effects you will ever here.
Casey
Master and commander is one of the best as far as ambient sounds and noises. Several times it made me check my room for sounds that were coming from the sound track. As far as bass goes the hulk is one of the most underrated sound tracks out there. The fight between the genetic dogs and the hulk is by far one of the best bass producing scenes i have ever heard.
Master and Commander does rock out the DTS man. The scene where the ship is broadsiding the other ship blows me away every time. In fact I am going to crack a beer and go watch that scene right now.
King Kong!
I really liked war of the worlds if your sub can go that deep.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. 30 days of Night on BR. The sound that comes out of all your speakers is sick.
How about Spiderman 3? That scene where the Sandman is born is awesome.
Are you talking Band of Brothers, or is there a movie called Brothers in Arms?
Grease 2.
Let me tell you something about life, around every corner monsters await. I know, I am one.
If I owned hell and this place, I would rent this place out and live in hell.

The fifth Harry Potter has some good Sh** in it. The part where the building spreads just about freaked me out. Bass coming from everywhere, had to jump for the remote and turn it down before my neighbors killed me. The end scene with Lord V and Dumbledore was pretty good as well.
Watched part of Matrix Revolutions the other night in HD-DVD and that was pretty awesome as well.
Actually, any movie turned up loud enough usually sounds pretty good to me.
Where can I get the Master and Commander DTS? any link?
