1. You need to bring your stuff home when she is not around.

2. You need to find a good, out of the way storage area for these purchases.

3. You are parting with a nice, albeit older amp.

Scott,

E-mail me tomorrow regarding your spare audio gear.
Would this amp be appropriate to drive the Monitor 10's?

Ron

PS Timing is everything - I'm not driving back up to Ft. Wayne.
Ugh.

That amp would be a nice match for those speakers. At 251wpc, you are there. If you're into the specs, it was actually the cleanest Carver amp of the period (1983-89) with no more than .15% THD at rated power. Nice big analog needle type power meters also. I think it's bridge mono power is 700watts RMS. All the Carver amps I have from that period (M4.0t, TFM-42, and M1.5t) are rated at no more than .5% THD (inaudible). I think it was the predecessor to the TFM-35 and 35X series, as they had the exact same specs. I just remembered I HAVE a TFM-35. The M500 was, in my opinion, the best looking amp he ever made while at Carver. Do it.

There is generally enough space around here for another Carver amp. Whether the space gets filled or not depends on Scott's response. You're right on top of this aren't you?

Default DEAL

Give me the address you want payment sent to. I'm at njgrand@bellatlantic.net

George Grand (of the Jersey Grand's)

President Bush and his $600 check just bought me an amp. I'm not sure this is how he wanted me to spur the economy, but it's what he's gonna get.
