When I opened the forum page this morning with my work laptop Norton identified a virus (Virus name: Bloodhound.Exploit.109).

My home PC antivirus identified 7 Trojan virus today. I NEVER get any virus.

If this is not just a coincidence and someone is actually messing with the site, I hope he/she is identified and charges made.

    Fu%^ing unbelievable.

Polk should shut the forum down for a week. Give everyone time to dig their heads out of where ever they are stuck & hopefully things will be back to something resembling normal when it reopenned!

I got a message at home this morning that it wants to install something, didn't pay attention to what, but it did have Microsoft in the title. I didn't allow it.

Here at work I have not noticed anything odd.

That is the site that I see trying to load after I click on the forum tab at the top of the Polk home page. I also see it loading when I click on one of the forum headers. Rather annoying.

Yeah my script blocker let me know that that was in there. For anyone using Firefox, NoScript is a GREAT security extension. It takes a little while to get used to enabling scripts for sites as you visit them, but once you've had it for a whiel you get used to it (and plus your most common sites are already listed).
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I had one of the password hacker worms blocked when logging into the forum last night. I was able to have some associates trace it a long way back. Polk also needs to tighten down their firewall and the backdoor routes through their DMZ.

There was a Java script running on the site starting late last night....I thought it was odd that I saw the white java icon pop up when going to the site yeasterday. So I went into IE's internet options/Programs and pulled up manage add-ons....temporarily disabled the Java plug in support.

Made it fine for now until the reason is determined.....

No NOT funny at all. I was on the forum this morning, and later in the day my laptop kept rebooting and I got the blue screen of death.
After the machine finally started up my wireless connection was disabled and the I could not connect to the internet.

This is my WORK computer I use to run my small business, and make my living from.

Not friggin funny at all :(
