I have found some Monitors 7B's. Would you buy Monitor 7B's with a blown driver? How much would you pay for them if you did buy them? Rated at 7 out of 10.

Frozen or blown. Frozen is a dropped cabinet; woops. $48 and you're down the road. It's worth bothering with. $25 sure.

If it's truely a melted vioce coil, that is evidence of abuse and every other component is suspect. Walk on that.

Engtaz, that's what happened to mine when the seller didn't remove the drivers before shipping them to me in one layer of bubble wrap.

You can buy a vintage 6500 or 6502 on ebay for around $30

Say you put 50 bucks into them, not knowing the exact price for the driver with shipping. Are they worth 115 bucks to you?

I'd grab them if they looked decent. You wouldn't need to upgrade the tweeters, and you can get the MW pretty cheap.

maybe the fuse is just blown on one of the tweeter and it's not blown at all.
