    Default pioneer vsx 1018txh

    anyone familiar with the new pioneer http://www.mwebinc.com/receivers/html/vsx1018.htm . has anyone heard it. if so is it worth the price.

    I Had'nt seen the vsx1018 but i bought a vsx1017 a few weeks ago and it sounds damn good.

    I don't think you would be disappointed and for $399.00 ? Look into "hdmi audio" capabilaties on the 1018 ? My 1017 has hdmi video only, and i used fiber optic cables for sound. Other than that, the sound is very impressive, and have just about every other feature you would need.

    Good luck ! Maybe someone else will chime in with some specific 1018 opinions.

    Don't order from that website, someone tried to buy it over on the blu-ray forums and they just refunded him his money after a couple days.
