    Default Another XO done

I did another XO for a Polkie. I used Dayton caps, and resistors.
R1 is located on the bottom. The 12, 20, 40 uf caps are all stacked:) The wire I used for the jumpers is Silver of coarse;)

What speaker is that for? Looks just like my 1C xover, but there is no 2.7ohm resistor in the R1 position.

Did you just go with the 4.3 uF from Dayton? If so, I have some Dayton 0.1uF Film/Foils that would go nicely in parallel and bring it up to the original spec of 4.4uF. Let me know if you want to try them.

I used the 4.3uf. The .1uf isn't necessary. The originals were 20% caps, and these are 5%. The 4.3 would test well within spec.
    Thanks for the offer.

20%? You sure? I thought they were like 5 or 10%. Regardless, using a 4.3 is only 2.2% off, but if that 4.3 is 5% off from its value (the Dayton's are 5% tolerance), you could be off by up to 7.1%, which is more than I would be happy with.

Does the board snap back onto the inductor with the original plastic fasteners with R1 on the bottom?

Ben, you doing the inductor too?
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.
