    Default experience with passive subwoofers?

    Anybody have any experience with passive subwoofers such as SVS's?

    I am currently driving my fronts with an adcom gfa 555 and using a yamaha rx-v663 receiver (95 watts x7). Wondering if all the receiver had to do was power the passive subwoofer if it would give decent results?
