Default Will this be a big improvement in sound quality.

Im in need of updating my CDP(replace) and am thinking of getting a GDA-700 DAC for now to improve my current cdp sound quality and later when I have enough money getting a theta data basic transport. And then sell the adcom cdp. What do you all think of my choices?
