Long subwoofer connection

Though I may have grossly overpaid, I chose Monster cable for my primary installation—including a factory-made subwoofer cable.

I now want to lay a longer run for a second (portable) subwoofer, leading to an A<>B position switch. In making up a cable, what are your recommendations? What type of end connectors should I use? What would make for the best (factory made) A<>B box?

Use RCA connectors (unless you have XLR on your sub and processor) :D but the cable should be a shielded with a pure copper core. So, use mic cable or coax cable. Be careful with coax cable because most is copper clad, steel core (poor conductor for bass frequencies).

I have some 35' sub cables from BJC with Canare RCA's that do a fine job. Low cost, too.

I have bought some long cables from monoprice. Great prices. I have no complaints about build quality.

+1 on the Monoprice cables. I used their "premium" digital audio cable for a 25' in wall run, up, over, and back down my family room. No problems so far.
