haha holy hell, whats your plan this time!
Power with natural gas or coal.
Your going to have problems with that. Line arrays work with the driver spacing calculated and equal. Your not going to have that, not to mention you don't need all those tweeters.
You need about 2kW to drive it.
your also going to have signal delays from the crossovers...
I would split them into 4 columns of 3 LSi9's and go retro with quadraphonic sound :p

What are you trying to achieve by doing this?
Terrible idea. A line array needs to be designed from the ground up, not just by stacking a bunch of monitors up.
Amulford hits the major points, but that's just scratching the surface of why its a bad idea.
why not just get a pair of AV123 LS6 Line source towers? They've been getting nothing but rave reviews. And if you really wanna take it a step further, wait for its bigger brother LS9
That will only work if you do it with a seventh pair and one of those $15 T-amps.
I bet it would sound good, why all the nay sayers?

LOL! I was thinking of doing that w/ my 2 60's and 4 30's. Run them in 7 ch. stereo and call them Monitor 120's:D
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!
Bolt 6 lsi9's together like you have pictured and from henceforth refer to them as LSI54 AURAL DEVASTAT0RZ

Comb Filtering is constructive and destructive interference from two points of identical sound. It messes with your sound stage and imaging. It occurs with one set of front speakers also because of reflections in a room. This is why people are also into room treatments.
I tried mixing RTi6's with R50's. They were about 1.5 feet apart of eachother and separated by about 8-10 feet. At first it sounded great. They I realized that imaging was pretty much lacking. I stacked the 6's on the 50's like you have and horizontal imaging greatly improved. However, I still lack height and depth. I would imagine 6 sets of front speakers to have all sorts of problems.
does comb filtering only happen when theres 2 speakers?
my setup has a hard time reproducing height, everything else is fine....![]()
