Just got some money from SONY.

My PS3 HDMI output shorted and inturn fried my digital in on my AVR and then cooked my digital in on my MITS 65-831. SO I got some money for upgrades. My denon was not making my RTI-12's CSI-5, and FXI-5's sweat. I have read good things abot EMOTIVA's XPA-5. I would like to here what you all think what receiver or pre/pro I should pair it with. I am looking to spend 1500 on the receiver. Thanx!!

opt for a cheaper receiver, Onkyo 875 or something like that, you can then opt for Outlaw Audio Monoblocks M2200 for the front soundstage, giving you 200wpc. That will be plenty for those 12s and CSi5. Merry Christmas.
