    Default 3 channel or monoblock

So I am trying to decide about a possible upgrade to my system. I was thinking of getting either a monoblock amp for my center channel (most likely a Outlaw M2200) or a three channel amp for the center and my surrounds. I am not sure about getting a 3 channel amp as the surrounds do not pull much heavy duty in HT or in surround sound music. If folks here had to decide, would you all go with the monoblock or the 3 channel?

i'd go with a monoblock myself.. i use three mono blocks for my fronts.. I think it's important for each speaker to have it's own separate amp. it's just one way of doing it.. but there is nothing wrong with a 2,3,4,5 or more channel amp either.

OK, so in terms of monoblocks, I have a little money to spend. What would be folks recommendations for a mono $1000 or under?

I would get an XPA-3 for $649 for your fronts, and move the rotel to the rears. They have free shipping until the 31st as well.

Or better yet, get the XPA-5 for $799, and sell the Rotel to offset the difference.
