... is very interesting to say the least. Usually light bracing and little damping causes much unwanted resonance, but if they managed to make it work for the sound and not against it...

I'e heard a pair of Pipedreams (with their complementary subwoofers) powered by Class A Mark Levinson amps. They are simply phenomenal (and I've never been a big fan of line arrays).

Yes, the Magico Reference in a professionally treated room at the owners home. They were awesome sounding, and remain one of the best systems I have had the pleasure of listening to. The owner had some exotic Australian hardwood strips installed between the Aluminum ribs on the speaker sides that improved the looks.

this one has a custom clear coat job on it...notice a different color on the lower half of the speaker...OR maybe its been in a flood? :p
