Default Sub DSW PRO 600 - Not working

I have a DSW PRO 600 Sub which is no longr working. The Led light on the back stays red. I unplugged it from the wall for several hours (per the instructions recommendations) however when I plug it back in the light goes green for 2 - 3 seconds then returns to red. It does not matter what position the back switch is set to (on, standby) the light always starts green then goes to red after a few seconds. We have had a power surge here however not sure if this is the cause and if it is what can be done.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Hello ewcameron. What I could suggest is to unplug and disconnect all connections to the sub. Remove the screws on the backplate and check for an internal fuse. If a fuse is blown, replace it with same value fuse and reassemble.

If that doesn't pan out, get back to us.

I pulled off the back as indicated and cannot see any visible fuse. I am sure there must be one however could it be an electronic fuse ? Does anyone have schematics for the inside electronics of this sub DSW Pro 600

    Thanks for any help

    Hello,
Having the LED illuminated probably indicates that the AC fuse is okay. Most likely there is a problem with the bass amp, itself. You would be best to contact the store where you bought it, or Polk's customer service. They'll probably have you remove the amp and send it to San Diego for service/replacement.

I believe your amp is dead. The red light means protect mode is engaged. Contact polk customer service and explain what you have tried so far.

Remove the amp and look, the fuse should be easy to locate.
