    Question Pin connectors

Does anyone know of speaker wire (either monster or MIT) that comes terminated wit pin connections - that will fit into spring clips?

Im having no luck finding anything - and I dont trust myself taking apart an expensive cable..

    Thanks.

No! Whenever I look at manufacturer terminated speaker wires I look for pin options. Most of my speakers and some of my amps use those dang clip connectors. This may be part of my enthusiasm for bare-wire conections. Clip it off and go bare wire. You'll get more surface area contact and skip a connection.

BTW: My Altecs have funky clip connectors that will barely accept pins. 14awg bare wire is too big. I hate these terminals.

Just out of curiosity. What are you trying to connect?

Just preperation for something - Russ knows what Im refering to. ;)

I have thought about simply replacing the spring terminals just to make life easier...

I think that Monster makes some w/attached pins. 2 Pairs of original in various lengths, & sets of 10 for the "5" in 5.1.
Crutchfield, the Monster site, Circuit City may have info on this, if I am remembering it correctly.

Acoustic Research, available at Sears & Best Buy has some 16 gauge w/attached pins, too, I believe.
