    Yup. Incredible....
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

If you've got your library on disk, running a squeezebox beats the heck out of trying to use a pc as a source. And the Duet gives you the awesome controller. I've got a heavily modded Squeezebox which sounds amazing, and I use the duet controller to run it. I've got the duet player up in my bedroom that i control with an old pda.

I tried one out for a 30 day trial... When it worked, it worked well. BUT, I just had too many issues w/ it--WiFi dropouts all the time. Oh, and there's nothing "wrong" w/ my WiFi network, btw--everything else on my network works perfectly w/out a hiccup. I need a WIRELESS music server, so the dropouts were a deal breaker for me. I actually use an Apple TV of all things; ZERO issues, and sounds terrific. I use my iPod Touch as a remote, so no need to even have the TV on... Then again, I can be accused of being an Apple fanboy...

Yes, I do agree there. Had some wifi dropouts as well, they weren't pretty, but I've got a wired setup now and it is flawless.

I've had one for several months and it's set up wireless. Works great and I have had zero dropouts. My only complaint is the controller can be a little slow.

I bought the Duet a couple of months ago from Amazon. Had to exchange the first one and spent about 2 weeks with tech support getting the 2nd one to work. Finally found a network setting on the Cox network that needed to be modified.

The concept is great. I was using it wireless and just had too many minor issues to be a good solution (slow controller, dropouts, etc...). I wish I could blame my wireless network, but it is solid with my laptop even out into the far end of the backyard.

I ended up returning it to Amazon. I'd still like to go back to a Squeezebox as my source, but it needs to be a little more solid and faster before I'll try again.

Wow, this thing rocks... logged on and it was running in no time... Didn't work with WMA, but worked great with WAV, and flac. so far I think it sounds better than my CD's.

nope, I'm wrong... The SB is good but not better than my BDPS2000ES, so I think its off the mod center... I will do a few more tests with the unit and cables before its packed up.
