Default Hooking up Powered Subwoofer To Powered Amplifier Port

I have an amplifier that has a subwoofer hookup that looks just like a speaker hookup. I was wondering if i could put a powered subwoofer on this channel.

If it is indeed a speaker level output (not line), then feed it into the subwoofer's speaker level input.

Most of the time, you should refer to your manual as to how to connect your subwoofer. If your subwoofer has LFE in and your receiver has a Subwoofer out (LFE out), you should be taking advantage of those.
