Upgrade from CS2 to Csi3/5?

Anyone have previous personal experience with the both the CS2 and the Csi3/5? I have Rti10s up front and understand that the CS2 is not the ideal match, but do you think there would be much of an improvement moving to the Csi3? Would I have to move up to the Csi5 to see much difference? I don't notice any timbre clash. However, my limited experience with audio is that you don't know what you're missing until you you've had a taste of something better.

The CSi5 is what you want. Pretty substantial difference between the CSi3 and CSi5. I've had both.

Yup, you definately want the CSi5 with RTi10's. RTi10's have that 6.5" midrange driver, which matches perfectly to the CSi5 with the dual 6.5" midbass drivers. Further, CSi5 has a cascaded crossover, where CSi3 drivers are just wired in parallel.

Would it also be fair to say that upgrading from the CS2 to the Csi3 would not be worth the effort? I could probably do this without spending much additional cash. Upgrading to the Csi5 would take small investment.

I wouldn't bother upgrading until you can go to the CSi5 or it's current equivalent.

CSi5 No question about it. (I even upgraded a CSi3 to CSi5 to go with my RTi6's in BR)

Thanks to everyone for the advice. Guess I "need" to keep my eyes open for a good deal on the Csi5. That beast is so darn bign that it will actually hang over the sides of the top shelf of my TV stand
