mp3 players rely dont sound that good on stereos. One reason is of the compression of bit rates. That is one reason why all my songs are in Apple Lossless "have an iPod" But I would still rather use something like the apple tv for audio on a stero.

just got the zune, i thought that it would sound real bad, bigaudiofanatic your right about the sound quity, cd sound a lot better but its handy to lision to playlist of all your good stuff that you dont want to sit at the sweet spot all day, i loldup enough for 2 days it works great for that
I prefer the ipod myself i have dropped my very old one many of times and still works dosent miss a beat plus there is much more stuff for them as well not to mention there huge itunes store. My new ipod i have not dropped knock on wood for the two years i have had it so far. As good if not better than my old one.

bigaudiofanatic, i was looking at the i-pod but didnt have fm - radio if it did i would have got i lisen to a lot of fm radio wend i ride my bike
They do have an adapter for that the reason they did not put that inside there mp3 players is because they thought people rely wouldn't use them. So they instead put a bigger battery and hard drive instead. But yes you can buy the cable with radio built in to that.

I listen to my mp3 player on both my stereo speakers (in the kitchen) and downstairs in the basement with my home theater speakers. Aside from getting a wireless music streaming product, it's the most convenient way to listen to music for me. It's not CD quality, but 320kps MP3s are not so bad!
i found out that wend you plug into your car stereo it sounds not to good to me
