    Default Polk Is Wrong Wrong Wrong!!

    They say that 120db is the treshhold for pain.

    This is incorrect!

    I can tell you 1st hand listening to something for a minute at 113-117 will end in a headache. I've had it for over an hour now..

    I did some rewiring and different placement of my rt3000s and thus the problem.

    Damn them Polk people!!:)

    rt3000s = the best 400 I ever spent!

    Everyone experiences pain at different sound pressure levels. My old car had two 10's capable of 140+dBs, and me and buddies would drive around with no problems. I did notice pain when I sat in a car, that was metering around 154 dB.

    As my name might imply I like to fish a lot.

    I have 4 6 1/2s and 2 10"s subs in my 18 foot flats boat. Ill have to get a reading on it though. I'm sure it wont be too impressive considering its open air and all.
