Power Conditioner?

I have received conflicting advice.

Is it really necessary to utilize a power conditioner to protect my Parasound halo A 21 amp? To be safe, I currently have everything hooked into a high quality surge protector.

If a power conditioner is a "wise" or "necessity" investment, any recomendations on specific brands/units would be appreciated.

As always, thank you for any feedback you might have on this subject mattter.

The surge protector youre running now will protect your gear. The power conditioner is for cleaning up the power that goes to your gear for supposed better sound but not everybody agrees that those benefits are audible so its best left up to you to demo one and see if you hear a difference and if you do, then is it enough difference to warrant the price.

Read the article in Affordable Audio October about the PS Audio Premier. The guy who wrote the article also has a pair of Halo A21s. He's DarqueKnight on this forum.
