    I'm a bit excited my new cd player for my jeep gets here today. Time to retire the Alpine it has been a good deck and i will be sad to see it sitting on the shelf it has delivered so much over the past few years. But.....
    the kenwood KDC-X991 just has so much more to offer with newer technology better pre out voltage and processing. it will take a bit to get used to and give me days of tweaking :D

    my friend has one and i played with it a little so i have a little experience with it and for the price (new) $382.67 shipped

    nice... 5.0v output.. sweet.. finally a decent looking deck with good features. not a bad price either.

    got it in and it looks good. so many tweaking options played for about an hour and finally walked away. need to do some research and then go back to it. one nice thing ist i can turn off the internal amp

    I have some Kenwood stuff from around 2000 and wouldn't trade it for current stuff. It works well and is decently simple to use; I don't want anything else. Nice looking deck and good luck playing around with it.
