With vinyl, that's totally normal. When you are only paying a few bucks (or less) for an album, its worth it to try and find a better sounding copy. I've got many dupes in my collection. Probably have doubles on at least 30 LPs and triples on a handful. Someday when I get a chance to sort though them all, I'll probably put together a vinyl starter package karma.

I often buy DVDs that I want when on sale and put them in the media cabinet until somedeay when I'll get the chance to watch it. Months later I'll see the same DVD on sale and buy it again, forgetting that I already had it. In some cases I even open the plastic to try it out and then I realize it so I can't even return it. I've done that a half a dozen times or more.
I have a list of media that I own now. :o
