You know the whole buying and selling on-line thing has me really irked lately. I'm specifically talking about CL, Audiogon, E-bay. Some are aware of my recent attempt to buy LSi 7's. That just didn't work in my favor but it did a sour taste in my mouth.
My recent issue with the LSi 7's I bought on e-bay was a buyers dream. The seller communicated and did exactly what they were supposed to do in an efficient timely manner. Kudos to him as he restored my faith.
My new rant is for sellers who list something but can't be bothered to send an e-mail response and sellers who can send you an invoice within an hour of auction ending expecting payment but can't send a quick e-mail about the status of said item after it's paid for.
It's common courtesy (as if I was in front you face to face) to answer questions and respond in a meaningful and prompt way. I recently bought MIT Terminator 2's on e-bay paid the guy Monday morning and have heard nothing from him about when they would be shipped.
He had 100% feedback and excellent comments. If you don't have time to respond about your item FS then you shouldn't put it up FS. Same thing with an amp on Audiogon. Sent several emails inquiring about the item; it sits unsold for 10 days and no response from the seller. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE.....
Ok I'm done.............ready for a Friday evening cocktail :D
