LS50's, well worth the price for first gen LS(i).

Of course Russman nailed it but they also appear to be glossy Rosewood finished.

I picked up a pair of LS-50s last night. They are not as "robust" as my 90s, but they are pretty damn good. I'd forgotten how smooth they were. Move those KG-4s to a secondary rig, or sell them for three times the cost of these 50s. I've had KG-4s and while they are one of the best Klipsch models and are fun to play with, they just aren't in the same musical class as the LS series.

Are the LS50's better than my B&W620's? The B&WE620's seem to mid really Mid-rangey. I'm waiting for my Harman/Karson PA-2000 amp to arrive and see how they sound running on a separate amp. Any thought's? The KG's will go after I get my SDA's...

I haven't heard the B&W's, but I am running the LS-50's with the remaining PA-2000 that I have (for sale). The H/K is slightly on the warm side and gives the 50s a nice, rich sound. Not boomy or anything like that, just a nice smooth lower-end. As with any smaller tower or bookshelf, for serious HT you would want a good sub.

I bought a pair of LS50 when new. I still use them! All they ever needed was some help from a sub.
God, I just cranked a Manassas song -- Thanks, these are still perfect.
