    MiDock 10

Does anyone know how to disassemble the MiDock 10 for iPod? I have already mod'd it to work with iPhone (docked) but want to make another mod. Thanks for any input.

PS. with the iPhone docked it looks sick!!

2 screws in the battery compartment, 4 screws under the rubber feet. If you need to ask then maybe you shouldn't be in there IMHO

    But above all....

I've looked under the rubber feet and didn't see any screws. I had found the two in the battery compartment and one in the front behind the dock door. Could you be thinking of another dock?

    I'm thinking of this product.

Is this what you have, if so there should be screws under the rubber feet.

I eventually figured it out (each side). On the side panels behind the handles a plastic layer is glued on and conceals 6 screws. Also the speaker grills must be removed from the front and three screws are in each. This will allow you to release the front of the box. After inspecting the interior design I decided not to install the slide-out 7" LCD.

Adapting the dock door to accept the iPhone turned out well. As a little body modification is neccesary, I found a dremel with a few different tips worked well.

*note: the phone will not charge unless connected via sync cable and USB power block.

I will post pics when I get a chance

Which is fair with me as 4 AA batteries would drain very fast if Ipod was dead needing a charge. But I should this could be mod if needed in the AC/DC power jack.
