    Default Polk MW65xx woofer differences?

    Can I use a midbass driver from a Monitor 10 in a 7? What are the differences between the different model numbers?

    You can if they were made around the same time. I have a pair of 10's & a pair of 7's and they use the same exact 6.5" drivers. I think they are MW6500's

    According to Polk, 6500 through 6503 all sound the same and same specs.

    All Peerless drivers. One of their best, IMO. I love 6.5"inchers

    I went through a few lost drivers on various models of old.

    The only difference is the 6503 has the voice coil leads under the woofer cone so you will not see the 2 dimples next to the dust cap.

    They were made in Mexico also.
