After watching this trailer Im thinking 3 things - this looks like it could be really great, the CGI looks unreal and gawdamighty I hope this isnt another environmentalist wacko flick like The Day After Tomorrow. If not, this has a lot of potential.

I heard they were going to make a movie 2013. It is just a black screen in a continuous loop:D On a serious note its time to get right with Jesus;)

Oh wow was this a bad, bad movie. A twisted view of Biblical prophecy, bad acting, bad story, really bad effects, no one redeeming quality about it.

According to IMDB this doesn't even come out until July of 2009. I also can't find any reviews of it on Rotten Tomatoes.

I'm thinking one of three things must be true:

1 - Someone is taking the pot
2 - Someone got some kind of sneak peak, but six months before-hand?
3 - Every other movie site that I can find is wrong and this is actually already out

Ah, I did some searching on IMDB and here's what I found.

1) 2012 (2009)
2) 2012: Doomsday (2008)

I watched a different film, based on the same thing, and one that was done this year.

Ah, well that makes sense then. I was bummed there for a minute because I've been looking forward to this one.

That's not saying it will be good, but I can still hold out hope...

I don't really like the main actor as much as I would have someone else, but the movie itself looks like it's chock full of reference material!

Can't wait to hear the ocean coming over the Himilayas!

Cusack is an excellent actor and other than his early teen movies(even most of those he chose pretty wisely) has chosen good to great scripts.

I just don't think he fits into this movie very well (just my personal opinion)

The CGI's in the trailer on youtube, were SOOOOO over the top, I cracked up laughing.
