    Default Russian Fur Hat...

I own a Russian fur hat, its Rabbit fur and I bought it on ebay 2 years ago for like $65

It was a great deal and I think I look ridiculous wearing it but it's warm as hell. People just can't believe I am wearing it and they just smile right at me and I smile back and nod several times, LOL

One time a guy started laughing out loud at me and pointing, it was a very cold day. I told him "Tonight when your ears are frozen and in pain just think of me, I will be toasty warm, LOL" He shut up then! LOL

One day last year I saw this guy that works for a client of mine he must have weighed 90lbs. he was so skinny and small and he had a Russian Fur hat that was 3 times larger than mine, it was so ridiculous and hilarious. Someone told me that he bought it from Bergdorf Goodman.

Check out their website, it's so funny, the models do not look like they are having fun. It looks like they are saying to themselves, "Damn, I hope nobody sees me in these ridiculous hats!"

I'm glad I live in the south...although, its only in the mid 20's here right now. I can usually get by with a microfleece hat.

EDIT: I just looked at the weather map. I can't believe how fricking cold it is throughout the south and mid-Atlantic. Damn Alberta Clippers!

A friend of mine has a fur hat like that. We constantly make fun of him.

I bought one of these off ebay about a year ago. I wear it all the time and get lots of compliments. People ask me where I got it. Crikey! :)

A friend of mine has hats like that and a genuine KGB officer's coat. He puts on his leather jump boots and walks around in his hat and coat. It's pretty funny. Especially when we used to go to military and gun shows.

The one on the bottom is (or at least used to be) a very popular model and looks ok. That's the kind we wore in the military at winter time. Looks ok with the flaps up, ridiculous with them up, and even worse with the flaps down topped with a field helmet... but it's warm and when you're out there that matters, not looks. :)

You can't make fun of warm. I grew up on the Iowa/Minn. border.
Winter could be real fun. I used to come in from chores(yes, farm in Iowa)
and spend 10 minutes trying to get feeling back into my hands.
That's why I now live in Texas. Windbreaker in winter.

Nope. It is a nice light meat, and not oily at all. It really is like chicken, but with a little more taste:)

    Exactly!

When my dad was young, He and his friends went camping and two of his friends made BBQ rabbit, At least that's what they told him. It was actually the neighborhood cat.

He said it tasted just like rabbit.
