What frequency should I set my RTI a5's to, or should I set them to large?
I played around with this a lot but I can't make up my mind what I like best. I just want to know what some of you guys/gals are running them at? Thanks.

Typically, harman/kardon's EzSet/EQ calibration would detect those as LARGE. That might be the best setting if music is your priority, otherwise, SMALL is probably better, especially for HT, and with a lower -3dB limit of 40Hz, I would try 60Hz and 80Hz, and see which of the two you prefer. Depending on your listening priorities, you might even like a 40Hz setting, but AFIK (and in theory at least) that would normally be considered too low.
Some receivers allow you to memorize different settings, so you may be able to have one setting with LARGE for music and no crossover (for example) and a different memorized setting with SMALL for HT and your chosen crossover point (for more punchy LFE).
Yeah, I think your right, Large does sound best with music. I notice the vocals clean up a little when I set them to 80hz but they are really forward sounding speakers anyway so I think Large might actually complement them by taming the brightness down a bit. Does that make sense?
I've been running the sub at 80hz while the fronts are set to Large. This seems to blend well for music. Not sure about HT yet.
