Default THX Loudness Plus or Audyssey Dynamic Volume?

    Greetings:

All I know here its that both control volumes at low level. Audyssey works more with accoustics and position of your speakers, seats etc.
But in terms when you see BluRay Moves and Music, It is really worthy?
    Which is more effective?

It's worth it, IMO. They were created because 99% of us don't listen at reference level. As we go down in volume, we begin to loose bass, dynamics, low level information and a sense of space that is provided at the much higher reference level. These features allow you to hear the low detail at a lower volume setting. It will also make expllsions louder. They pretty much try to simulate reference level of a theater into a domestic setting. I use the THX Loudness Plus all the time. The difference is obvious with movies. I listen to music on a seperate system, so I can't comment on that. But I have watched concert DVD's and they sound great.

I tried the Dynamic Volume and didn't like it . It just felt to rear heavy. I only liked it on video games.

Im also not a big fan of Dynamic Volume. It just kills the SQ IMO. Now what i do like is Dynamic EQ, that is a great feature.

Great. I want to hear that. So Im not losing something great about Dynamic Vol. Seems I will keep my Onkyo 707 instead of Denon 2309.

Arrived today my Onkyo 707. Going to setup and start doing tests!.. Thanks to all
