Patricia Barber - The Cole Porter Mix

As usual, recording is top notch, as always with her albums.

Anyone familiar with Cole Porter work enjoy this recording, for the rest, it's a relaxing music for those cold nights, in front of the fireplace.

It's a very "un-plugged" style album, and more mainstream than her prior typical arrangements, refreshing without drifting too far from her signature style.

Highly recommended, especially for those who are familiar with her works.

I miss the 302 West restaurant in Geneva (IL). Patricia Barber would tickle the keys there on occasion, until the owner lost his battle with kidney cancer and the place closed.
