    Default Problem with LSi9's

Hi! I have just finished hooking up a brand new pair of LSi9's and there is very little sound coming out of them. It sounds like a very bad transistor radio if not worse. I don't know how else to explain it and I'm sure I hooked them up correctly. I purchased these new in April of 2007 and they have not been used until this evening. Hopefully it's something simple but...

As before, any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks so much in advance,

    Cindy

Make sure the jumpers are in place between the upper and lower binding posts. If it *is* in place, try moving your speaker connections to the top or bottom posts and see if the sound changes. Make sure to turn off the amp/receiver before moving the connection....

if both of the speakers are making the same sound or having the same problem then more than likely it is your amp or receiver or cd player that is the problem, if you are listening to the radio make sure the antena is tightly attached, also try using your cd player to see if that helps, finally try hooking them up to a different amp or receiver this will tell you if the speakers are ok.
