    Question new I Sonic polk

    Hello everyone.

I am a senior living in an apt. I was given this I Sonic sytem for Christmas. I can only get the local station very disappointed. Does anyone else have this problem I think it is because of the apt building.

Welcome to the forum. Are you trying to get the HD stations? Might want to check the map to see if you have one close enough here

I have always had problems picking up FM stations with basic antenna provided so i use the TV "Rabbit Ears". They pick up signals alot better.

    Hope this helps

if you get cable tv, connect a splitter to your cable, one to your tv/cable box and the other to your fm input on the back of the isonic.

You need a good, external antenna for that unit and the previous suggestions are solid.

Welcome Joyce! I just got one for Christmas myself. In the box it comes with an AM & FM atenna. If you put up the FM atenna, you should be able to pick up a great many more stations both regular and HD stations.

Yeah, Joyce, if you give us just a state of residence (mine's denial. it's in Egypt) someone near by might be able to stop by and help out. Hell, someone might have a decent external antenna they'd be willing to part with for pennies on the dollar.

    Hi everyone,
I moved my polk by the window and now can pick up the FM stations that I like. I live near Baltimore Md. and found that my station is going to HD soon Thanks Pauly for the web site. I have a Grandson coming to try and do the cable thing so i can have it on my TV and use the DVD. Lots to learn good for the old brain all the changes in life.
