    Default Sony or Pioneer

Ok I know I have a post going on Blu Ray players. I'm ready to buy one. How much better do you think the Pioneer BDP51FD is then the Sony BDPS350. I can get the Pioneer for $600.00 Tax included from Hippos or the Sony from Walmart for $298.00 plus tax. Need quick opinions. Thanks in Advance.

Excuse my ignorance. But wouldn't a PS3 best that BDPS350! Also comes with a hard-drive and gaming capability. Can be operated with optional remote as a standard Blu-ray?

I would second that recommendation for the PS3 cnh, but seems like most people these days are not willing to dish out the $ for a PS3 thinking they don't need the gaming aspect of it.

That is the reason I bought a PS3 for BR then I started playing games, I think it saw only 3 BR movies played on it so far.

Well just to let you know, I deciced to buy the Sony BDPS350. For the price and the reviews I have read it is a NICE machine. I got it home and tried Transformers. The TV this is hooked to is a Hitatchi Ultra Vision 42 inch plasma via HDMI. Well let me tell you the picture quality is just as good as my Sony LCD with the LG blu ray player. But since I am still putting together the HT for the room. It was lacking that way, and the sound during the movie Transformers is awsome on our HT setups. Any how Thanks to all for the advice.
