And this is definitely one of my favorites!

    That's for sure!

My friend just took his dad's '66 Chevelle out for a spin tonight and recorded three vids of it. It's got a 385 in it backed by a M20 four speed. It's cold in the first two videos, but I really like the way it adds to the lopey idle. But, then again, it sounds great all warmed up in the last vid, to!

Ok. That's enough to make me cry. I had one in black.
Maybe it's time for the new one?

Dude.... man I loved these cars. Actually I'm a fan of every single year F body.. From the very first to the very last. I love them all. Camaro or Firebird, it doesn't matter.

If I had a huge car collector garage, and money to go along with this dream, I would have 1 or 2 of every single year Camaro and Firebird.

I know it's a under 80's but one of my personal favorite top 3 cars in the world is the 1989 Pontiac Trans am 20th 3.8L SFI Turbo Pace car. Man what I would give up to own a completely stock perfect shape one... and to know one of my friends has one in his garage and will not sell it to me...

My alltime favorite car - 1977 Pontiac Trans Am

I know its not nearly as fast or powerful as older model muscle cars pre-stupid ass emissions crap but I do think theyre simply beautiful. They have been my favorite car since I was a kid.

But if its sheer, raw power that youre after - its hard to do better than the 1971 Hemi Cuda!

well the movie out by Clint Eastwood called Grand Torino reminded me of how fond I am of the 60's and 70's muscle cars. :D

This 1971 Camaro is similar to the one I drove in high school.. although mine wasn't this color. Talk about a fun car even stock it was a hoot to be driving any Camaro in high school. :)

Got a few hours to spend, misty-eyed, at the PC? Visit www.carsinbarns.com

Click what section, then click on a little picture to get a few big pictures. At the bottom of each page of big pictures, there's a "next page" button to keep you occupied for hours.

This place is an hour or so from my house. I went once and looked around. They had some cars that brought back a lot of memories. I got my first driver's license in a white 1967 GTO convertable.

Kirk Proffitt. Has won 4 straight World Championship so far and actually won a championship this year in 2 different classes and went undefeated all year! Thats why he is Zapco's poster boy. If its any consolation he only beat my by 1/2 a point this year. :o

Dont worry tho - Ive got a little something for him this year.....Im moving to a different class. Thats right if you cant beat em, run!

First car at age 15. Lost it in a separation in 1993. Almost the exact same color combo, but had painted bumper which is the only exterior difference in the 1973.
