    Default Tv lifts

Need some advice and experience from anyone that has used or seen one of these in operation.

These are the TV lifts that are remotely controlled that lift the TV out of a cabinet which could be positioned at the end of a bed.

I have a room that I would like to put a plasma tv in and locate it in a cabinet with a lift. I'm not sure it will work well however.

    Any thoughts?

I can look at a couple options for you, but be prepared for the price. Reliable motorized lifts can be quite pricey.

Auton and Lift-Tech are a couple. If you need a price, let me know.

Looks like you could buy the mechanism from them and build it into anything you wanted. Maybe save a $K or so.

Yes I could save at least $1K by doing it myself but like many things in life I would need to do it at least three to five times to get it right. The lift plus furniture will cost about $2,000 and the WAF is good.

I just want to know if anybody has one and do they like it? Any issues?

They look cool to me. They would fit well in my cave.

Okiepolkie is the $2,000 cost correct?
