Alright, I've talked about my dad's work here before. He does woodworking and when I tell most people that his work compares with the likes of Norm Abrams, they scoff at me. Well, here are some sampling of his work.
This is a pine cradle he built (for dolls or decoration)
This is the same cradle but in quarter sawn oak
This is a side table made from solid mahogany that is a replica of the side tables one can find on Princess Cruise Lines ships.
This is a solid mahogany Shaker style end table
All this stuff is for sale and if you want more than what he has, he can duplicate any piece there. He also has other pieces but he wants to see what kind of bites he gets here before he goes further.
You can find his storefront here:
I can attest to the quality of his work and not just because he is my dad. He has built night stands for me, jewelery boxes for my mom, sister and others in the family, an entire bedroom set for my mom, countless bookshelves and such and even picture frames.
He will do custom work and such but as you can see quality work and materials don't necessarily come cheap. But given the work, his prices are fair. so if you see something you like, please, go take a look and contact him or just drop me a line and I will give you a way to get in touch with him.
And by all means, pass this around to others.
