Mono or Blue Jeans wire?

Is there really much diference between the two for Speaker wire besides price of course. and will i be just fine with 12 awg? or will i be better off with 10 awg? i held off ordering my wire till i got home and see what some of you guys think. i really think i will just order the 12 awg. but wondering now between Mono or Blue jeans. not really looking forward to pulling new wire for my surrounds. but it needs to happen.

From another members post, IIRC, the MonoPrice speaker cable is the same Belden wire as Blue Jeans. I know a lot of Polkies use the MonoPrice cables. I use their HDMI & optical in my system, it's good stuff.
I agree with Ben. The 12 gauge is plenty thick enough.

Thanks i was reading some old post's and that is what i was finding. Mono is a better price so i was thinking saving the cash and going that way. Bluejeans is doing my RCA's though i already ordered them.

My HDMI is Monster they had them half price at christmas and i really don't think i will get any advantage changing them.

I went with Blue Jeans (speaker, rca, & hdmi) as they are 60 miles from me and I got them day after ordering.

I think the BJC interconnects are probably better than the MP Larry. The RCA connectors Blue Jeans uses are really nice. They go on and come off like butter, yet maintain a tight connection. Can't comment on the Monster HDMI's, except that I've noticed them to be quite pricey, but that's MC for ya, overpriced/overrated. Mono's are well built and only cost a fraction of the Monster offerings.

Someone should make a thread dealing with the pros and cons of different types of speaker wires and different types of amps. Seem like this is a very popular topic that gets asked on a daily basis.
