Hello
I see on the front page they have 200 bucks off on that Soundbar 360 DVD theater....
I was wondering if anybody here has one of those and if it was worth it for a bedroom application....
Thanks

I just heard this system at BB. It is very impressive.

It's no replacement for a full 5.1 system, but they are very impressive. if I wanted surround sound in my bedroom, I'd probaby get a Soundbar. I would recommend adding a sub though.

Hmmm, well supposedly you don't need a sub with this system, I would think that would be the beauty of it.....
It would be nice if it had a Blu Ray player integrated into it instead of a regular DVD player. I did talk to customer service yesterday and asked them if they had plans for that and they said no, too expensive. But they are coming out with a version without the DVD player so you can hook up a standalone blu ray player or whatever you want....
You never need a sub - but it does sound a heck of a lot better with one.......
You don't need a sub with the 360, it has really good impact and weight in smaller rooms. That being said, the control unit does have a subwoofer preout, and a DSW400 would be my choice.
Cheers,
Russ
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.
From the short time I spent listening, I was impressed with the bass. However, a sub would be a good enhancement.
