Default What setting to use for 3.1 setup?

i currently have a 3.1 setup front L and R, center and sub, so i wanted to know what would be the best setting to use on my receiver. my options are 2 ch stereo, 7 ch stereo or surround sound, but there is no 3 ch choice, so what is the best for 3.1?

    thanks

Can you configure it to a 2.1 set up? I'm thinking downmix to stereo plus the use of your sub. I use to run like this for awhile until I got a complete 5.1 rig.

    No Dolby 3 Stereo?

Just set your surrounds to 'none' and you'll be fine.

Strongly disagree. Run 3.1 unless you want the dialogue to be coming from the sides. A center does a lot of the work. Go into the manual setup and turn your rears off - should be in the owners manual.
