Ok I have a dumb question, I just bought some used Lsi 9's and a friend of mine that does some messing around and repairs on stereo equipment wanted to check them out he has never seen a pair. I took them over to him today and he thinks that there might be something wrong with the top driver on both speakers, maybe overdriven but I don't think so. When you check the resistance on the top driver its 2.4 on both speakers then when you check the bottom driver its 3.9 thats where he thinks it should be. I really don't know maybe someone here can shed some light on the subject. Oh and by the way the tweeter checks out at 3.2 on both speakers. Just wondering if this is the way they all are or if the previous owner just played them way too hard, they do look like they have had a really hard life for just being bookshelfs.
