You can also purchase Parallels or VMWare Fusion. Since I use VMWare at work Fusion is what I use.

I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

So VMWare Fusion is best? They both are the same price between Parellels and VMWare Fusion.

This is my opinion: both products are equally capable, functionality-wise. I could use either. But, VMWare is a known leader in the OS virtualization software industry, so, the wrapper file can be used or migrated to many other platforms. In the Oracle DB world, VMWare is a known quantity. I converted Oracle applications environment into the VMWare and it's such a cool product that cuts the implementation/deployment time. In MAC environment, Fusion works like a charm. It allows all WIN drivers to load with ease, including external drivers, as if it is native. Resume and Suspend activities are very stable, and no corruption so far (knock on wood) and even if that's the case, reinstalling is painless. My 2 cents.

Nothing yet, just doing a bit of relaxing (I think I deserve it! :))

I chose VirtualBox because it's open source and FREE. I've heard great things about the other programs, but I just want to be able to run a windows program every once in a while, so VirtualBox works great for me.

Justin, was it hard to do with a Mac like many steps? I tried to install it under Ubuntu but haven't as yet doing something wrong.

Then I wonder if I have the source files with state Linux to find someone to assemble it for Mac. Its just a file program, it makes a .ini for setup but thats it.

    http://www.virtualbox.org/

Looks like the site is down right now though. It's powered by Sun Microsystems.

It's simple to install. You DO need a copy of Windows to install, and it runs as a virtual machine on your mac desktop. So you can run windows programs without having to log out load windows (like bootcamp).

It should just be an image file that you click on and install, it will appear under applications. You don't have to compile anything.
