Update on my dad...

well, dad passed away on wednesday night :( i was there along with my brother and some friends of his. it seemed he went peacefully though there was some stuff at the end that was not good for my dreams :( anyway, the service is in a few weeks and since dad was a vet he will be getting the full honor guard and flag folding and all that goes along with a veteran funeral. i sure better have a couple boxes of kleenex around.

anyway, thanks again to everybody's thoughts and words, we all appreciated it.

Very sorry to hear that man. God bless Dad. My parents are now in their late 70's and it's constantly on my mind how much I'm going to miss them.

Tears will turn into smiles later down the road when we realize the difference between missing them, and the joy they brought to us and how their memory has made us who we are.

I lost my dad last Feb 26th and there's not a day goes by I don't miss talking to him or just his presence in my life. It does get easier but never forgotten.
