Odd design. Looks like the tubes are a bit close to the controls.
I'm betting low quality pots....why would you like the design anyways? Do you have a triangle shaped space? It would be cool to adjust things with tubes in the way.

No designation for the inputs. Looks like someone knows how to work the photoshop feature on the 'puter.
FI is, or was, Don Garber. FI made, or maybe still makes, a SE 2A3 amp in the shape of an "X". I think it's called the FI-X.
I heard one at Deja Vu Audio in VA once, years ago. It was/is a nice SE amplifier, and not (as I recall) crazy expensive. I suspect his preamp would be nice, too.
