    Default Looking for RT3000's

if the price is right. I currently own a set and would like a second set for a future dedicated HT. I don't mind a few dings in them as long as they WORK PERFECTLY. Nothing's set in stone, but if there are any offers out there let me know.

    Default .

Not really sure. I know that a set usually goes for around $1900-$2100 on Ebay, so it would have to be better than that. Darrin

Any luck finding a pair yet? I might just be interested in parting with mine. (Sorry, no dings in them.)

Could you toss them around for a while? Maybe throw them down the stairs? What's your offer?

    Default Darrin,

    Default 3000's

Where in NY are you living? I'm in the Rochester area. Why are you interested in selling them? Are they rosewood or black? Perfect condition? Did you tweak them at all (cross overs etc.)? Age? Let me know what ever else you think may be important.

I'm in the Lake George area.

The speakers are in new condition, about 18-20 months old, Rosewood, stock, nothing changed or tweeked. Original boxes and papers.

I don't really care if I sell them or not. I never planned on selling them and don't need to sell them now for any paticular reason. The thing is, they are part a HT I built and darn near never use. (Lets see, I didn't use it once in Oct, or Sept, or Aug,...get the picture?) It's a nice separates system I built for the fun of building it, but I couldn't possibly care less about movies. I just don't think it matters that much if I hold onto them or not. BTW: I WILL be taking a loss on these if there is any question about that aspect.

$1500 is a very good price. I wish I did not buy my speakers recently.

Since neither of us is in any rush I'm going to wait a while and see how things are at the end of the year. $1500 is a good price however.
