Just a picture of cable and hose

I am going to re-terminate the Audioquest Mammoth's with Banana's all around. While out of the system I thought I'd share a picture of the AQ's and a piece of garden hose. When Gebby44 sold them to me he did say they need some room to bend because they are some thick/fat cables. He was not kidding.

haha, I told you. Great sounding cables though. Good luck with the bananas. I wanted to do the same, but the cables were too short for my setup to begin with.

I am happy treitz3 started his thread on banana's. I'm not sure what I am going to use and have to figure out what gage the new banana's must be able to accommodate. I guess calling AQ and asking them will help.
They are nice warm sounding cables which is great for me. Alittle warmer than the Morrow Audio's I have in play now but they are not far off and may have better separation. Since I have done some capacitor upgrades to my Anthem pre-amp and the caps may have 150 hours its too soon to judge. I also bought some Obbligato's for my SDA2a's which are still burning in but sound great right off the bat!!
