    Default Angels and Demons

A tragically boring religious version of National Treasure. I say tragic because I like Ron Howard, Tom Hanks, Ewan McGregor, Stellan Skarsgard, and Armen Mueller-Stahl and I'm tragically out of $10.

Rental at best. Would have done better as a made for TV movie shown on Sunday, minus the blood and gore (not that much).

It can't be any more boring than the first one can it? I was hoping this one was better!

After the first one I didn't have any interest in a sequel. I'm not surprised.

I have no desire to ever see these films, the trailers make the films out to be extremely boring.

i really hate movies like this.. where they try and find a "hidden" meaning in a painting, dollar bill, hair from someone in history.. etc, etc, etc. now religion. gimme a break. I will not be seeing this at the mega plex. Rental maybe.

next up.. a long lost fingernail from Ronald McDonald is discovered in ancient Uganda and holds the secret to the time travels of the big Mac with special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles on a sesame seed bun, once eaten by carnivores, near the great wall of China, by a Terminator who comes to earth in 777 BC only to find out he's been undead for 666 years and is mad as hell because some 14 yr old kid borrowed his dads virgin vinyl copy of the Wall and played it backwards.

Saw it tonight, and I thought it was very entertaining. I guess I have a lower threshold for entertainment value. Lots of sh$t going boom, some history blended in, decent acting talent, the surround sound seemed well done, works for me. Took me away from any thoughts of real life for a couple of hours!

The movie was entertaining, but not great. I don't get out of the house much so seeing any movie is a treat. I enjoyed myself, but wouldn't highly recomend it to others.

I read his books in order, and was so disappointed by the time DaVinci came- I waited 3 years for the paperback. The movie was even more of a let down.
    And 'A & D's' came out b4 'Code' so it SHOULDN'T be a sequel?

I hated The DaVinci Code. I just didn't think it was that compelling, and I didn't really see what all the hype was about. However, Angels & Demons was a surprisingly good movie and is absolutely worth a look.

A good "follow-up" to the Da Vinci Code,Ron Howard improves upon the criticism of the first Dan Brown adaptation and makes a good, action filled film. While many criticised the first movie as having too much dialogue.I actually didn't mind it.However, Howard solves this problem by having Tom Hanks' Langdon explain the symbolism and background without stopping the action.I was a little wary of this film, as I felt the book got a little carried away at the end. While Howard keeps a lot of the book's ending, he changes a few details to make it a little more realistic.A good summer film that doesn't dumb things down for it's audience.

My wife came home from the rental store with this, I honestly can't see any reason to see it, but she wants to. Neither of us have seen the first, oh well. Two hours of sitting and drinking Gulden Draak and watching this, can't be all THAT bad...can it?
